In today’s NBA 2K16 tip, we are covering how to shoot a much higher percentage on 3 pointers. It is a little counter intuitive but the key to a successful 3 point game is a good inside game. Your opponent must respect your big men and bring help down low otherwise you will never get an open 3 point shot.
The second thing you’ll want to keep in mind is that corner 3’s have a much higher probability of going in than 3’s from the wing or the top of the key. You can still knock down those shots but you will need space to get the shot off.
When you shoot your 3 pointers, you will want to make sure that first you are open (obviously) and second that your feet are completely set.
You will also want to have made at least a couple shots inside before you start launching a bunch of 3 pointers.
How close a defender is to your shooter directly effects the chances that your shot will go in. The more open you are, the more likely you will make the shot. Again, this is fairly obvious but it is something that people forget about in NBA 2K16.
The video below provides much more detail on how to make more threes in NBA 2K16.
